Lisbon

Lisbon, the last stop of the 2025 holidays, and we had nowhere to stay. I dragged my feet choosing because everything I loved was already full. And what was not full, I did not love or it was out of budget. We landed, I sat down at the airport Starbucks with my computer and started digging through Booking and calling hotels. Not one hotel would take the whole family in a single room. They offered 2 rooms. Until, after many Booking refreshes, it appeared: The Verse.

It looked too good to be true. I called, was welcomed straight away and within an hour we were there with bags and all. A one-bedroom flat, a kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed (already made up for Nico) and a yard. Not a yard: THE yard.

My heart nearly leapt out of my mouth. Getting the stay right is one of my greatest pleasures. Beyond the perfect flat, the location made me want to move to Lisbon and live that life of doing everything on foot, with that beautiful light, forever.

The warmth was real from the first call to the second one, also from the airport, when we missed our flight back to Brazil. The empathy and support of the team, especially Nic, left a mark on our little family.

The Verse is beautiful, cool, chic, well located and has a warm, wonderful team.
