Ibiza

Can Domo will always be my first choice in Ibiza. The hotel is pure poetry: rustic, simple and chic. Very chic! We stayed there for the first time when Nico was 3, in a little cave room that was surreally beautiful and so cosy. Can Domo then became Adults Only and we had to find other hotels. In 2024 we went back to Ibiza without the kids and I ran straight back to this hotel I love so much. It is the details that take my breath away: so much delicacy in this place.

Aguamadera is the rustic being chic in every corner. It is in every detail: from the light switch to the woven reed grille over the air conditioning, from the beaten-up wooden furniture to the crockery that looks carved out of stone. A hotel for a few and a restaurant for everyone. I fell in love with every little piece of this place. If you pass through Ibiza, do not miss it, even if only for the restaurant and a sunset worth sighing over.

A rural house turned into a guesthouse with boho decor and a lot of poetry in every detail. A privileged location in the southwest of the island, close to the best beaches in the south. Breakfast can be served anywhere on the grounds: pick your favourite corner.

It is more guesthouse than hotel: there is no restaurant and the service is discreet, so it suits those looking for a refuge rather than constant pampering.

A classic Ibiza hotel, perched on a cliff in the north, with a Mediterranean view that is reason enough to stay for days. The cascading pools above the sea are the postcard shot. The sunset here is among the best on the island.

The catch: the decor has not aged with the times and feels cold. It is worth it for the landscape, not for the interiors.

The hotel shop is a carefully curated set of pieces that make you want to take everything home. The catch: it is far from everything, so rent a car and accept the slow pace.

Facing the little square of Santa Gertrudis, one of the most charming villages in Ibiza. Clean decor, fair value for money and a perfect base for anyone who wants to be near good restaurants and just the right amount of buzz.

It is more a base than an experience: it does not try to be a destination in itself.
